Base-game skill commands
Select the Sim you want to change, enable testing cheats, and replace the final number with the desired skill level. Most major skills use levels 1–10.
stats.set_skill_level Major_Logic 10Sets the selected Sim's Logic skill to level 10.

How to use these cheats

Open the cheat console
Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or Mac. On PlayStation or Xbox, press all four shoulder buttons at the same time.

Enable testing cheats
Enter testingcheats true and press Enter. Some basic money commands work without it, but skill commands require it.

Enter your command
Type or paste the cheat exactly as shown, then press Enter. Replace example numbers with the level or amount you want.

Close the console
Press Ctrl + Shift + C again on a computer, or press the four shoulder buttons again on a console.
Frequently asked questions
1. How do I change a skill to a specific level?
Replace the final 10 in the command with the level you want. For example, stats.set_skill_level Major_Logic 7 sets Logic to level 7.
2. Why are Sims 4 skill cheats not working?
Make sure the correct Sim is selected, run testingcheats true first, and enter the internal skill name exactly as shown.
3. Do all Sims 4 skills have ten levels?
No. Most major skills have ten levels, but some minor, child, toddler, and pack-specific skills use a different maximum.
