Who we are
SimsModly is a fan-made catalog of mods for The Sims and a browser life-sim. This policy explains what personal data we process and why, in line with the GDPR and Turkey's KVKK.
Data we collect
When you log in with Patreon we receive your Patreon ID, display name, email and pledge tier. For security we process technical data such as your IP address and country, and we keep aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics.
How we use your data
We use it to authenticate you, to gate supporter-only downloads, to keep the platform secure (rate limiting and abuse prevention), and to understand overall usage. We never sell your personal data.
Legal basis
We rely on the performance of our service (authentication), our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure, and your consent for analytics and advertising cookies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and KVKK you may access, correct, export or delete your data and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it.
